A few weeks after moving into our home, we had a water disaster affecting all three floors of the home. The worst of which was a total loss of part of the hardwoods in our kitchen. After several months with a restoration company, it was determined that the original custom floor could not be matched. We called in Craig Whitson as an expert and could not be more thrilled with the work he and his crew did. They matched new flooring to existing 40+ year old flooring, piecing it in various places. They sanded down over 1800 sf and refinished it all. You cannot tell where the old and new floors come together and it is simply GORGEOUS. Craig and his team are PROS. He walked us through all of the options, went to the flooring store with us, and provided all of the intel we needed to make a good decision. Professional, courteous, kind, neat, clean, and honest! I would recommend Whitson to anyone considering new hardwoods or refinishing existing ones.

Craig and his team came out and refinished 3 rooms of Oak floors with espresso stain and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. They're absolutely gorgeous. Once we have the other two rooms ready I'm going to have him come back to refinish those. Unfortunately the pictures do not do the floors Justice.

Craig refinished about 1,800 sq ft of hardwood floors in our new house, which brought them back to life after years of neglect from previous owners. He advised on stains that would bring out the beauty of the wood grain but still keep things light and airy. They finished in about a week, and provided guidance on how best to care for the floors going forward. We moved into an existing home that required new installation in Dining that had a burgundy engineered and light oak hardwood site finish in other areas, We darkened it all to be espresso with the Glitsa finish. I've had previous site finished floors and engineered floors. Their craftsmanship is second to none for me.

I would highly recommend Craig. He was very knowledgeable and had excellent communication throughout the entire process. He came to refinish about 1100 sq-ft of 20 year old pre-finished red oak floors; we choose to go with a espresso stain with a satin finish. The floors turned out incredible!

Whitson’s Hardwood Flooring were great to work with and did a good job with what they had to work with for example very badly pet stained floors in a rental home. Once Whitson’s refinished them, the floors look so good, with a few darker spots because I didn’t have them put down a stain. I like it. Looks a little rustic. Everyone who sees them says they are beautiful. Reasonable cost. Quick turnaround. Professional results. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Beautiful job of lacing in new hardwood with old. The new darker color really changes the look of the space. Can’t wait for the whole project to be done, cabinets, etc. to see how the floor grounds the space. Craig & team were easy going & did good work!

If you need a hardwood floor refinished than look no further. Whitsons is who you should hire! Craig and Jon took a botched refinishing job made by a local contractor hired by Lowe's and brought it to life. I was amazed at how quick and efficient these guys were. Craig and his associate did a fantastic job with my floor. They took a 100 year old floor that had severe pet damage (urine stains) in multiple spots and turned them into a showpiece. They sanded, stained (dark walnut) and refinished the floor, and it looks simply amazing now. I’ve received multiple compliments on it already.
